- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆Hi there. Just registering my delight at meeting a lovely lady called Patricia who was witnessing on your behalf in Dorchester the other day(last Wed I think). She was respectful, knowledgable and happy to search the scriptures with me as requested. A credit to you, and would like to meet up with her and other womens circles like her if she`s your standard street pastor. Her bloke was-however-clearly some bumptious leader type in a suit who was fractious and ill-informed. Hope he`s not your typical elect type in the making-I went to a few Brownswood Hall Memorials way back, so know the standard of scholarship and grace is not your usual. Hope you`re TRAINING and approving these blokes before you send them out...I was willing enough to listen to his boorish and condescending opinions and selective pops at me-but my Friends in Higher Places would not be so accommodating in future. My only reason to approach the couple was to ask about a mutual Friend who had died recently from your congregation...we started being cheesed off at how the persons family kept your church out of funeral arrangements-but having met your bloke, can now well see why they`d not want you involved if THAT is what God is using as a salesman for the JW Franchise. OK then...my Two Cents-one of them a silver dollar, the other a whitened sepulcre! Hope to get a reply...but at least I`ve raised the issue of how you present your church to (maybe ) prospective allies...I know Paul says nothing about street evangelism...but you can do better than this anyway( I Pet 3.15)By Admin, November 03, 2019
